Are you happy with your God-Given Uniqueness? Did you know that no two people have the same DNA? Like raindrops and snowflakes, we are made differently and change appearance when in contact with something. God deliberately designed all of this, and all we have to do is unleash the uniqueness he has given us.
Positive psychology believes in building on your strengths and not focusing on your weaknesses. It might just be that this weakness we are trying to overcome or change is a product of our working so hard at being what we weren’t meant to be in God’s design.
Below are a few tips to unleashing the You God created:
Step 1: Identify the source of your identity and know that God knew you beforehand:You were also given the will to choose between right and wrong and given forgiveness so that you can change. It is through prayer that we know the true identity outlined for us. If we listen to God, our path will fall into place.
Step 2: Learn to stay in our lane and learn about who we are and why we are here: We are all created with different and specific talents. You are here to fulfill his purpose, not yours. We often go about life choosing what we want to do and not what he wants us to do. Making Godly choices for our direction takes knowing who you are and having the “You made me; you created me” mentally
Step 3: Embrace what God has given you with happiness HAPPINESS comes from within. Happiest is the state of experiencing positive emotions, and it can be better satisfied if you focus on contentment. Contentment deals with the present state and looking inward. Outlining your goals and aspirations take time to look inward, read his word, and meditate on how it feels.
With God’s diverse kingdom, your snowflakes may fall at different times. Knowing this should bring you joy because no matter what God calls you to do, the strength and energy he supplies will empower you to do anything.
